Troubled Kids Drinking and Partying in the Parkplatz Hofheim am Taunus

Folks, we played 15 consecutive years in the Jazzkeller Hofheim during the Musikmesse. Last year we noticed a lot of kids were hanging out in the parking lot or parkplatz and instead of coming in to enjoy the music, they were partying outside *see photo:
when we went outside and asked them to come in they actually became aggressive and we heard that they have also been busting car windows, sad to see. Well we had some good gigs there over the years and last year we debuted the incredible new Hammond Sk1 Organ keyboard there. I hope the kids will get better in time, sincerely Jon Hammond and Band *WATCH THE VIDEO HERE: Jon Hammond's Tribute to Joe Zawinul Mercy Mercy in Hofheim Germany http://www.archive.org/details/JonHammondJonHammond_sTributetoJoeZawinulMercyMercyinHofheimGermany Jon Hammond Tribute to Joe Zawinul and good JZ joke!

It opened its doors in 1961 at 147 Bleecker Street under the auspices of owner Fred Weintraub. The club changed its name to The Other End during the 1970s. However eventually after a few years the owners changed the club's name back to the more recognizable Bitter End. History An earlier club, "The Cock and Bull" operated on the same premises with the same format, in the late 1950s. The poet/comedian Hugh Romney (who later became known as Wavy Gravy) read there. During the early 1960s the club hosted Folk music "hootenanies" every Tuesday night, featuring many performers who have since become legendary. During its heyday the Bitter End showcased a wide range of talented and legendary musicians, comedians, and theatrical performers.[1] In 1968 Paul Colby, who began his career as a song plugger for Benny Goodman’s publishing company, and went on to work for Frank Sinatra, Duke Ellington, and Guy Lombardo, became the manager and booking agent at The Bitter End, and in 1974 he purchased it.
