Hammond Report June 29 2021 From Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from the organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's music story is about playing in trio formation over in Tokyo Big Sight exhibition center (where they are hosting The Olympics!) with my dear friends Koei Tanaka chromatic harmonica and diatonic master, Joe Berger electric guitar and yours truly Jon Hammond at one of the latest greatest Hammond organ products from our good friends from Hamamatsu Suzuki Musical Instruments - I am powered by the 3300W high-power Leslie Speaker, W stands for Wood, lots of nice wood! Yesterday I really enjoyed the beautiful Dr. Lonnie Smith Happy Birthday Tribute streaming, put together by Robby Robinson & Scott May from Hammond Organ USA - Dr. Lonnie is of course like The Beatles of The Hammond Organ, Happy early-Birthday to you main man Dr. Lonnie! (July 3rd)! Many great Hammond org players participated, big honor to contribute.Today I bought the new Apple TV 4K box, just in time so I can extend my Apple TV+ subscription so I can catch the new season of TED LASSO and all the other good original Apple content - they are shipping it fast!
