NAMM's John Riddle and Jon Hammond

Hammond Report July 17 2021 From Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from the organ player & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's story bout playing almost un-plugged version of my band Jon Hammond Band very special tune in the incredible acoustics of the high-ceiling Nashville Music City Center Summer NAMM Show"Get Back in The Groove" the beautiful horns totally acoustic Roland Barber trombone + Cord Martin, Louis Flip Winfield is playing the cajon box drum, Joe Berger guitar and yours truly Jon Hammond at the organ - I have a very special connection with Nashville ever since I took my first trip there on the Greyhound in 1990 riding a 14 day Ameripass after a gig I played with Bernard Purdie. I bought my bus ticket and rode straight to Nashville and checked in to Shoney's, hit the coffee shop where I met some really great song writers. More to the story! I'll be back tomorrow folks with another Hammond Report,
