- Hammond Report September 9 2021 From Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from the organ player & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's music story about coming back from gig yesterday and getting the news that Winter NAMM 2022 is cancelled/rescheduled and combined with Summer NAMM Show and moved to June 3-5 2022, wow! Not returning to Nashville next year sadly - more on that development later. The music we're playing here, I wrote and we played first time at sound check in Jazzkeller Hofheim - rock trio formation with Joe Berger guitar, Heinz Lichius drums and yours truly Jon Hammond at the organ.I have a big rehearsal today for a duo gig, and sadly late last night I heard that Phil Schaap of WKCR passed at 70 years of age.
