Hammond Report from Jon Hammond November 22 2022 Thanksgiving time - one of my Early Bird Sessions on the bandstand at Local 802 AFM Musicians Union, I'm at the organ with Swiss Chris drums and Carol Sudhalter sat in playing real nice on flute on a favorite standard easy livin' which was also the name of my showband back in the 70's. I'm parked and getting ready to play a real nice morning gig for seniors before the first Thanksgiving meal is served on this beautiful Tuesday - have a beautiful Thanksgiving everybody! Jon Hammond

It was also the day that 21 years ago the African National Congress was voted into power and Nelson Mandela was elected president a fortnight later."I hope my friend Hary Lin from Augsburg got better - I just saw this item about Hary and his wife Cecile - "Musician Hary Lin suffered a stroke in 2013 and his wife a heart attack. They never gave up and Wednesday is Harry's birthday.The couple now describe what happened in early March 2013 as “the catastrophe”. Musician Hary Lin suffered a stroke and his wife suffered a heart attack when he was rescued. As a result, both were "on life and death" in the clinic in a coma - only floors apart. But together they fought their way back to life in the past four years.
