Hammond Report October 2 2020 from Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from the organist and accordionist Jon Hammond, today's story about playing a very special concert in Duo Formation with my good friend Koei Tanaka in the Suzuki Musical Instruments Factory and World Headquarters for the Suzuki Team and my dear friend Waichiro Tachikawa aka 'Tachi' invited me and introduced me to Mr. Manji Suzuki the Founder and Chairman of Suzuki Musical Instruments Co. Ltd. in Hamamatsu.Japan - very sadly Manji Suzuki passed on recently "Manji Suzuki, chairman and founder of Suzuki Musical Instrument, died peacefully at the age of 97 on August 21.��" So I would like to dedicate this Hammond Report in memory of Mr. Suzuki today.Sincerely,

First time I played together with my friend Koei Tanaka in Hamamatsu at factory and world headquarters Suzuki Musical Instruments, special performance for president / founder Manji Suzuki and the entire Suzuki Team in Suzuki Hall - special thanks to my friend Tachi - Waichiro Tachikawa for inviting me and introducing me to Koei! We have played together many times since in 10 years, we opened the 2020 Winter NAMM Show with Koei on the band again, beautiful feeling and music! Everybody have a beautiful day, and an even better one tomorrow - we will overcome all the natural and 'un-natural' disasters folks! I'll be back tomorrow with another Hammond Report, Jon Hammond
