Remembering my long-time friend Rudy Lawless - I took this picture of Rudy on a gig we did at a senior home on West End - they told us after the gig "You guys are the best band they ever sent us!" Todd Anderson was on the gig too - after the gig, Rudy packed up his whole drum kit on to his Kart-A-Bag wheels and I put my organ & amp on mine (same wheels) and we walked/pushed our gear all the way down to 72nd and Broadway where Rudy knew he could get on the subway with everything. I'll never forget that night or Rudy, he was a most beautiful cat in every respect and certainly the most highly-dynamic drummer folks - RIP Rudy, Jon Hammond
