- Hammond Report October 1 2021 From Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from Jon Hammond the organ player & accordionist, today's music story is about playing in an event honoring Mr. James Leary in Holy Cross Church (Times Square), it was the first time I played in a church - my tune Get Back in The Groove, getting back after a day off - Todd Anderson on tenor, special thanks to Mr. Richard Hunnings and Chapman Roberts getting everything together and Norman Riley longtime assistant to Harry Belafonte did a beautiful job on the sound. The acoustics in there blew me away - my neighbors Warren Benbow & Sipho Kunene kicked in on the drums spontaneously. I filmed the whole event, a lot of super talented neighbors of mine came out and played. Have a beautiful TGIF folks, I'll be back tomorrow,
