- Hammond Report September 4 2020 from Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from the organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's story about a very special session with my band playing "No X-Cess Baggage Blues" an original composition of mine I wrote for my friends in PIA Airlines, they flew me many times with very liberal baggage allowance! On the band here, Chuggy Carter congas and percussion, Ray Grappone drums, Joe Berger guitar, Todd Anderson is the tenor saxophonist and yours truly Jon Hammond at my 1959 stock Hammond B3 organ + my Bill Beer custom built Leslie Speaker from Keyboard Products. I recorded the audio on my old Nakamichi 550 cassette recorder with some nice Sennheiser microphones - stay safe out there everybody, keep masking up in this pandemic!
