Hammond Report October 4 2020 from Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from the organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's story about playing a special place, Indra Club 64 aka Indra Musik Club where The Beatles player their first gigs in Hamburg Germany. The stage is about the same as it was in 1960, my friend Orhan Sandikci is the owner - we did a multi-media night with the art of Michael August aka ILLUSTRATORP. Also my friend Günter Zint the renowned photographer came and covered us for a piece about Hamburg Sound. Musicians: Lutz Büchner tenor saxophone, greatly missed long-time member of NDR Bigband, Heinz Lichius drums, Joe Berger guitar and yours truly Jon Hammond at the organ.
