Hammond Report October 15 2020 From Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond- Daily Music and Stories from the organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's story about playing a morning session in Messe Frankfurt on Center Stage to kick off the Musikmessetrade show with my band plus special guest Lee Oskarharmonica. Joe Berger, Lee and I were the early birds - then Giovanni Totò Gulinoand Peter Klohmannfound the bandstand after we had played a late night the night before at jazzkeller. I always say, 'Early bird gets the worm...2nd mouse gets the cheese!' no pain no strain, lots of fun! Wolfgang Lückewas the director then, and we had a lot of fun with the official announcer Mavros. Our good friend Andreas Meerwas still with us then and shot some beautiful photos - stay safe out there in the pandemic folks, keep masking up and be sure to vote if you're in USA!
