Hammond Report August 30 2021 From Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from the organ player and accordionist Jon Hammond, today's music story is about playing in Shanghai China at the very first Music China - Messe Frankfurt opening reception and at night on Danny Woody's jazz gig at the The Portman Ritz Carlton Shanghai China in the jazz bar which was a cigar bar on mezzanine level - along with Alex Layne acoustic bass (sadly deceased), Dr. Dwight Dickerson at the piano, fearless leader Danny Woody drums and yours truly Jon Hammond at the organ. I did the first 4 Music China trade shows. Not likely that I'll be back again, but you never know! Have a beautiful day in history folks, c u tomorrow,
