Hammond Report November 28 2020 From Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond

by: Jon Hammond

Hammond Report November 28 2020 from Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from the organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's story about ridin' the rails on The Amtrak California Zephyr the day after I filmed one of Paul Butterfield's last performances 34 years ago - I was heading back to NYC, then I saw Paul in the Village on Bleeker Street and he wasn't looking too good. 4 months later we lost him very sadly - in 1972 I had been cruising around in the Lincoln with Rod Hicks, Trevor Lawrence and Ralph Walsh when Paul Butterfield Band was in town - enjoy this rare clip of mine with Buzz Feiten playing and leading the band. Stay safe out there folks, keep masking up in the pandemic, it's raging! I'll be back tomorrow with another Hammond Report,

Jon Hammond
