 - Hammond Report November 28 2020 from Pandemic Quarantino  Jon Hammond-  - Daily Music and Stories from the organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's story about ridin' the rails on The  Amtrak-  California Zephyr the day after I filmed one of  Paul Butterfield- 's last performances 34 years ago - I was heading back to NYC, then I saw Paul in the Village on Bleeker Street and he wasn't looking too good. 4 months later we lost him very sadly - in 1972 I had been cruising around in the Lincoln with Rod Hicks, Trevor Lawrence and Ralph Walsh when Paul Butterfield Band was in town - enjoy this rare clip of mine with  Buzz Feiten-  playing and leading the band. Stay safe out there folks, keep masking up in the pandemic, it's raging! I'll be back tomorrow with another Hammond Report,
