On November 23, 2020, just over a month after his wife's death, Dinkins died at his home on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, at age 93

David Norman Dinkins (July 10, 1927 – November 23, 2020) was an American politician, lawyer, and author who served as the 106th Mayor of New York City from 1990 to 1993. He was the first and, to date, only African American to hold that office.

Hammond Report November 24 2020 from Pandemic Quarantino - Daily Music and Stories from the organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's story is about the Tuesday Specialist (Me!) always on Tuesday night for years when we come back in the - I have been fixing a lot of things lately, car wars, plumbing etc. and there's going to be a lot of fixing to do on January 20th 2021 can't come soon enough Presto-Change-O don't ya' know!! 2 days to Thanksgiving, if you didn't travel yet do not do it folks! I may go with a turkey TV dinner, better to be safe - on the band here, tenor, drums, guitar and yours truly at the Hammond Sk1 organ, I'll be back tomorrow with another Hammond Report, keep masking up in public folks! Better to stay safe in these dangerous times - Jon Hammond
